Anthony Boyd joins The Clarendon in Chandler's Cross

ANTHONY Boyd, former head chef of the Michelin-starred Glasshouse in Kew, London, is bringing his award-winning modern European cooking to The Clarendon in Chandlers Cross.

ANTHONY Boyd, former head chef of the Michelin-starred Glasshouse in Kew, London, is bringing his award-winning modern European cooking to The Clarendon in Chandlers Cross, where he has been appointed chef-patron.


Head chef at the Glasshouse since 1999 and previously at Chez Bruce and The Square, he won a Catey award for Menu of the Year in 1999 and gained his Michelin star, which he retained until his departure, in 2002.


Boyd is overseeing a kitchen brigade of six, including two chefs who have followed him from The Glasshouse, at The Clarendon, which is owned by Barry Skarin and David Cowham.
