1. Sopwell House, St Albans

2. Tewin Bury Farm, Welwyn

Afternoon tea meets Christmas dinner in Welwyn-based Tewin Bury Farm’s festive afternoon tea. With finger sandwiches of salmon, cream cheese and chive, egg mayonnaise and watercress and breast of Norfolk turkey with apricot compote, there is a definite nod to the Christmas Day spread that we know and love.
