Bonfire Night in Hertfordshire: 17 firework displays

Nothing beats wrapping up warm and heading out to see a bonfire and fireworks display. We have gathered 17 places in Hertfordshire to see a dazzling performance

St Albans Cathedral Fireworks Spectacular

Where: Verulamium Park, St Albans

When: Saturday 3rd November. Gates 6pm, display 7.30pm

Tickets: adult £7, under-16s £3 when booked online. Adult £10, under-16s £5 at the gate

Ware Fireworks Display

Where: corner of High Oak Road and Kingsway, Ware

When: Saturday 3rd November. Gates 5.30pm, bonfire 6.30pm, display 7pm

Tickets: book online for a discount or £6 for adults and £3 for children at the gate

Hitchin Fireworks

Where: Hitchin Priory, Tilehouse Street, Hitchin

When: Sunday 4th November. Gates 4pm, display 7pm

Tickets: adult £6, under 14s £3 in advance or adult £8, under 14s £5 on the gate

Hatfield Fireworks

Where: Angerland, Southway, Hatfield

When: Saturday 3rd November. Gates 4.30pm, children’s display 6.30pm, family display 7pm

Tickets: adult £5.50, under 12s free

Abbots Langley Fireworks Display

Where: Manor House Playing Fields, Abbots Langley

When: Friday 2nd November

Welwyn Garden City Football Club Fireworks

Where: Herns Lane, Welwyn Garden City

When: Friday 2nd November. Doors 6pm, display 8pm

Tickets: adult £6, under 16 £4. Ticket only event, no cash entry on night

Berkhamsted Rotary Fireworks

Where: Berkhamsted Cricket Club, Castle Hill, Berkhamsted

When: Saturday 3rd November. Gates 6pm, display 7pm

Tickets: adult £7, child £5 in advance, adult £8, child £6 on the night

Bishops Stortford RFC Fireworks Display

Where: Silver Leys, Hadham Road, Bishop’s Stortford

When: Saturday 3rd November. Gates 5pm, display 7pm

Tickets: adult or unaccompanied children £5, children (accompanied by an adult) £3. On the gate £8/£5 respectively

Brookmans Park Rotary Fireworks Display

Where: Little Heath School, School Road, Potters Bar

When: Saturday 10th November. Gates 5.30pm, bonfire 6.30pm and display 7pm

Tickets: adult £7, child (4-15) £4 online, adult £9, child £5 on the door

Camelot Firework Extravaganza

Where: Hemel Hempstead RUFC, Chaulden Lane, Hemel Hempstead

When: Saturday 3rd November. Gates 5pm, display 7.30pm

Tickets: £5 in advance, £7 at the gate

Cassiobury Fireworks

Where: Cassiobury Park, Gade Avenue, Watford

When: Saturday 3rd November. Entertainment from 6pm, bonfire 7pm, display 7.30pm

Tickets: free with donations taken for charity

Crabtree Fireworks Spectacular

Where: Crabtree Schools, Harpenden

When: Saturday 10th November. From 5.30pm

Tickets: keep updated on FB page

Pirton Fireworks and Bonfire Night

Where: Pirton Recreation Ground, 19 Walnut Tree Road, Pirton, Hitchin

When: Saturday 3rd November. Gates 6.30pm, bonfire 7pm, display 7.30pm

Tickets: adult £6, child £2

Tring Festival of Fire

Where: Tring Park Cricket Club, London Road, Tring

When: Saturday 3rd November. Gates 5.30pm, parade and bonfire 6.30pm, display 7.15pm

Tickets: adult £7, child £5 when booked online

Guy Fawkes Festival & Fireworks

Where: Royal Gunpowder Mills, Beaulieu Drive, Waltham Abbey

When: Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th November. Activites from 2pm, last entry 6.30pm, display at 7pm

Tickets: adult £10.50, children (under 16) £8.50, pre-book to guarantee entry

Bushey Annual Fireworks Display

Where: Bushey Sports Club, 14 The Moorings, Aldenham Road, Bushey

Wheathampstead Fireworks Display

Where: Beech Hyde Primary School, Nurseries Road, Wheathampstead

When: Sunday 4th November. Gates 4pm, display at 5.30pm
