The winners of the inaugural Hertfordshire Life Food & Drink Awards were announced at a glittering ceremony at Sopwell House in St Albans

After a six month process, and hundreds of nominations from the public and businesses, the 12 winners of the first Hertfordshire Life Food & Drink Awards have been recognised.

At a luncheon ceremony, hosted by TV chef Joe Hurd at Sopwell House in St Albans, more than 160 guests including the 36 finalists, sponsors, industry judges and VIPs filled the grand St Alban suite at the hotel.

Hertfordshire Life editor Richard Young said, ‘It was fantastic to see so many at our first food and drink awards and to see the passion for the industry in the county.
