Hertfordshire's own Kirstie and Phil

CHARTERED surveyor Stephen Hensby and his business partner Elspeth Heywood are hoping to be Hertfordshire's answer to Phil and Kirstie.

CHARTERED surveyor Stephen Hensby and his business partner Elspeth Heywood are hoping to be Hertfordshires answer to Phil and Kirstie.

Like the two property experts who find dream homes for hopefuls on the TV programme Location Location, Steve and Elspeth have launched Hertswood Homesearch to put in the legwork and use their knowledge to draw up shortlists for busy buyers who dont have the time to check out all the likely properties themselves. For Elspeth the latest venture is an expansion of her other job which is finding land for housebuilders.

Buyers pay a 700 registration fee which is refundable if the sale goes through, earning the Hertfordshire-based homesearch company 1.5 per cent of the purchase price. More details on the website
