Homes will unveil Mosaic, a collection of 259 apartments, in St Albans on Saturday 6th November. The one, two and three bedroom city-style apartments have already witnessed strong interest from buyers looking for an affordable home in an exclusive commuter location.

Each of the contemporary apartments features open-plan layouts and built-in AEG energy efficient appliances. Many also have en suite bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace or balcony. Prices start at 160,000 for a studio apartment.

Mosaic is just two minutes walk from St Albans train station, with regular and fast trains to London St Pancras in 20 minutes and London Bridge in 40 minutes. Special Mosaic Men will be travelling with commuters in the run-up to the launch to give people more information about the development and a competition to win a new Apple iPad at the launch event. The apartments are also within easy reach of the M1, A1(M) and M25 motorways and are well-served by local transport.

St Albans has become one of the most popular towns in Hertfordshire with a wide selection of restaurants, bars and high street and independent stores. The town is also home to the renowned sports venue Clarence Park and a number of historic sites, including The Roman Ruins of Verulamium and 11th century St Albans Cathedral.

Buyers who reserve an apartment on the launch weekend will each receive interior design vouchers worth 1,000 that can be exchanged for fixtures and fittings at the developments Enhance studio which will also launch on 6th November. The interior design studio gives customers the chance to personalise their new home and add those all important finishing touches. Linden Homes is also offering to contribute towards legal fees on selected apartments.

Simon Pendlebury, Head of Sales and Marketing at Linden Homes Chiltern, part of Galliford Try Homes, comments:

We are delighted to offer this range of smart and contemporary apartments at Mosaic that are perfectly placed and priced for young professionals commuting into the capital. We also have a range of offers designed to help buyers move quickly and the early interest registered for the apartments shows demand for much needed new homes in St Albans is strong.
