It's a Diamond Jubilee day out for all the family at this country fair...

The Fair, whoseaim is to raise funds for West Countrychildrens charities, has added 775,000 to the charity pot over its 16 year run. This has been boosted in recent yearsby the hugely popular Dragon Boatracing event, where teams from local businesses, clubs and pubs can raise money for their own chosen charities through sponsorship. Why not get ateam together to take part?

As part of this years Jubilee theme, there will be a Jubilee Hat parade and competition open to all ages in the Main Ring at 2.30pm. Entries will be acceptedon the day at the Secretarys Tent. Thisyears Dog Show also gets in on theroyal theme with a category for the best dressed Jubilee dogs and young handler. The patriotic theme has also been embraced by the Dorset Rare Breeds Survival Trust who will be holding a Fancy Dress competition for sheep and young handlers as part of the Rare Breeds Show at the Fair.
