For an egg-citing day out this Easter, look no further than the National Trust. Spring has sprung, so its the perfect time to get the family together and enjoy some Easter fun.


From egg-raft racing to Easter bunnies and all things chicken, theres something for everyone. But the excitement doesnt stop there Why not follow one of our Easter trails or take part in an egg hunt? Thanks to Cadburys generous support, therell be plenty of tasty chocolate treats waiting to be won.

Anglesey Abbey, Gardens & Lode Mill, Cambridgeshire


The Great Lode Egg-raft Race - Saturday 23 to Sunday 24 April, 11am 4pm


On your marks, egg-set, gocome along to create your own mini raft, decorate an egg then try your hand at sailing it down the Lode. Egg-stra special prize for all brave designers! Look out for our new adventure packs too, if youre planning to visit over the Easter holidays.Child 2, plus garden admission.


Blickling Estate, Norfolk


All things Chicken - Friday 22 to Monday 25 April, 11 4pm


Bring the family and join us for some Easter fun on the parade. Chicks, bunnies, eggs, trails and more, youll certainly be entertained.2.50 per trail includes a chocolate gift.


Bourne Mill, Essex


St George, Heroes and Villains - Easter Monday 25 April, 10am 5pm


Bourne Mill Mummers present a traditional mummers play, with song, dance and narrative. Performances throughout the day. Normal admission applies, donations welcomed.


Brancaster Millennium Activity Centre, Norfolk


Sailing or Kayaking Taster Days - Monday 11 to Thursday 14 April


Taster days for all ages, why not try sailing in a Drascombe longboat with our experienced RYA instructors. Alternatively, explore the creeks of Brancaster Staithe on a gentle paddle with our BCU certified kayaking instructor and try your hand at kayaking. 5.25 per child (8-16), 8 per adult (16+). Enjoy family activities in the Heath Barn Field Study Centre and follow trails onto the heath to claim a chocolate prize. There will be competitions and crafts too.5 per child, booking not required, just drop in.

Easter Bunny Day with Pets at Home - Friday 22 April, 11am 3pm


Hop on over to Ickworth for a family activity day with rabbit-related fun. Meet the bunnies with experts from pets at Home in Bury St Edmunds, follow the bunny trial and have a go at making bunny-tastic Easter decorations. Children 2.50, plus park and garden admission.
