A Night at the Palace raises 22,000 for county charity

Lord and Lady Charles Cecil welcomed 150 guests to Hatfield House, Old Palace to raise funds for the Hertfordshire Community Foundation on February 24. The black tie event, which included dinner, an auction of unbuyable opportunities and music from beneficiaries of the Harpenden Music Foundation, helped the Foundation to raise more than 22,000.

Hertfordshire Community Foundation Chairman J Stuart Lewis DL, said, We were thrilled with the success of the evening, particularly in these current uncertain economic times, and thank everyone involved in helping to make it such a fantastic night.
