HOLLYOAKS star Marcus Patrick will be turning on the Christmas lights at The Harlequin shopping centre in Watford on November 4 from 6pm.

Marcus will be joined by the cast of Watford Palace Theatres Christmas panto, Aladdin, who will be on stage outside The Harlequin entrance, by Waterstones, entertaining all the family with plenty of slapstick fun.

Glee tribute band, The Gleeks will be singing some of our favourite songs from the show as well as performing some impressive dance moves to get everyone warmed up for the spectacular firework display after the lights are turned on.

There will be plenty of onstage competitions as well as prizes and goody bags from stores up for grabs on the night.

There is also the chance to see players from Watford FC and the Saracens who will be signing autographs in the centre while for younger visitors, Santa will be making a special appearance.

Marcus has also been starring in 71 Degrees North with the final part of the competition shown on ITV tonight at 9pm.
