Janey Lee Grace BBC Radio DJ on Steve Wright in the Afternoon and Channel 5 TVs, The Wright Stuff natural health and beauty guru is to open the St Marys Church, Braughing Flower Festival and Art Exhibition.

Janey Lee Grace, who lives in West Hertfordshire, is delighted to be helping this beautiful, historic village raise much needed funds for the repair and upkeep of their Grade I listed Parish Church.

The Festival, themed 'Recreation', on Saturday, August 7, will include flower and plant displays from many and varied local groups, societies and organizations including Braughing Horticultural Society, Braughing Music Society and East Herts Golf Club.

The children from Jenyns School, Braughing will also each be involved by producing artwork to decorate pew ends in the church.

The Art Exhibition, which will be held in the Old Boys School, is in memory of Marie Sole, who lived in Braughing for most of her life, and was a well known and admired artist. The exhibition will bring together examples of her work from over the years and the pictures will include many of the different techniques she used, including watercolour, oils and work on silk.

The church bell ringers will ring at the beginning of each day to welcome visitors.

Janey will officially open the event at 11am.
