Digswell Place Group Riding For The Disabled held its 4th charity ball on September 24 at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel. The theme was 1940s and 210 guests attended The RDA Jitterbug Ball, enjoying drinks in the Meadow Marquee followed by a three-course dinner in the main marquee and entertainment from The Tootsie Rollers, a 1940s singing and dancing girl group. Dinner was followed by an auction, led by Rob Morrall, and a disco. The ball was a huge success, raising over 16,000 which will go towards the 45,000 needed each year to keep the RDA stables running to enable disabled adults and children to continue riding. For details about helping at Digswell Place Group RDA contact Chairman Jackie Meredith on 01438 832651 or Amanda Morrall on 07765 255530.
