Amwell Nature Reserve is approximately a ten minute drive from Balls Park. Former gravel pits have been restored to a diverse wetland reserve, providing keen wildlife enthusiasts with the opportunity to view important numbers of wintering wildfowl, breeding birds and otters from specially designed hides and viewpoints.
