North London and South Herts Ramblers are inviting everyone to join in their 'March Madness' and discover how easy it is to get healthier and happier this spring.

North London and South Herts Ramblers are inviting everyone to join in their March Madness and discover how easy it is to get healthier and happier this spring.

The group is inviting people to join them on a FREE short walk in March to show how something as simple as going out for a stroll can help to put a spring in your step.

We all know that walking is good for your health but research shows that people who walk together talk more and get to know each other better.

With a friendly atmosphere and a variety of walks to suit every taste, the local Ramblers are showing that its never been easier to get out, meet new people and put that extra spring in your step.

South Herts Ramblers next FREE short walk will take in the sights of Widford and the River Ash area on March 27, 2011. All are welcome to attend.

Paul Newland, the local Ramblers group spokesperson, said,'Walking is a great way to meet new people. Theres something about getting out in nature and the fresh air that just seems to loosen peoples tongues.

'Whats more, most of the time youre having so much fun, talking with people, that you wont even notice the exercise you are getting.'

As an extra incentive to get out and about this spring all new members of The Ramblers will be given 10 off their membership (normally 31 for the whole year) if they sign up by direct debit.

For more information, including a list of weekly walks, contact the local groups membership secretary ramblersnlsh@hotmail.co.uk

Or look at the local groups website www.ramblersnlsh.org.uk

Or call The Ramblers membership hotline on 020 7339 8595
