Not only is there a new summer festival for Hertfordshire but it is also a festival that has attracted a true musical legend...

HATFIELD House pulled off quite a coup by securing the legendary Sir Elton John as the headline act for the first ever Magic Summer Live concert.

And since then more names have been added to the line-up including The Overtones and The Lighthouse Family.

Sir Eltons musical career has spanned over four decades and seen him sell more than 250 million albums worldwide. He is one of the most influential artists of all time with a string of hit singles including Your Song, Sacrifice, Rocket Man and Daniel.
He is a multiple Grammy and Brit Award winner and will be bringing his extensive catalogue including songs from new release The Union to the day-long live music event, organised by London radio station Magic 105.4 in association with BT, on July 17.
Sir Elton says, Im really excited to be headlining the first ever Magic Summer Live event in July. I cant think of a better way to spend a summers day than performing some of my greatest hits on a stage in the absolutely stunning setting of Hatfield House.
The news has brought delight to the team at Hatfield House and Nick Moorhouse, director of business at Hatfield House, says, After several months of negotiations, I was delighted to learn we had been successful in securing Sir Elton John as the headline act for our Magic Summer Live concert.
It is going to be a sensational day with several first class acts supporting Elton during the course of the afternoon. One not to be missed!
Joining Sir Elton on the bill will be BRIT Award nominee Rumer and emerging American duo The Pierces sisters, songwriters, and singers with more names added in the coming weeks.
