Flipping good fun in Hitchin and St Albans

This month Hertfordshire will celebrate Shrove Tuesday in style by taking Pancake Day to a new level with fun events for all the family.

EGGS, flour... action! This month Hertfordshire will celebrate Shrove Tuesday in style by taking Pancake Day to a new level with fun events for all the family. As part of Hitchins annual Pancake Fayre from February 13, traditional pancake races will take place along the High Street on February 16. In St Albans, watch local teams battle it out for the famous St Albans frying pan on Shrove Tuesday, February 16 in the St Albans Pancake Race, taking place outside St Albans Town Hall at noon. Teams of four can register with the Tourist Information Centre on 01727 864511.
