People living and working in Hertford are invited to share their tales of ghosts that lurk in the town centre with Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre in advance of the re-introduction of Ghost Walks to the town on the 30th and 31st October 2011.
Cllr Jane Sartin, Chairman of Hertford Town Councils Development and Leisure Committee, says, For a number of years Ghost Walks were a popular feature of the towns programme of activity for visitors and residents.
Hertford Town Council is re-introducing the walks on a trial basis this Halloween, as part of our programme of activities to support the town centre. We are keen to hear from those that live and work in Hertford about their experiences of any ghosts in the town centre so that their stories can be included in the tours.
Anyone with a story to tell should contact Sonia Cousins, Manager of Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre (T&TIC) in Market Place or email firstname.lastname@example.org with their ghostly tales.
Adult Ghost Walks are planned for Sunday 30th October and Monday 31st October at 7.30pm, and a Childrens Walk at 5pm on 31st October. All children will need to be accompanied.
Due to a restriction on the number of places available all the Ghost Walks will have to be booked in advance at the T&TIC on 01922 584322. Ticket for the walks will be 4 for adults and 2 for children or 10 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children).
