Redcoats is a family farm that over 30 years has translated itself into a successful restaurant and hotel: quirky, original, welcoming. A 15th century farmhouse complete with tall brick chimneys that segues into a Victorian country house literally halfway through, reflects the centuries. Redcoats is still home to the family, and it is the family’s sense of hospitality which prevails. There are 12 double or twin-bedded rooms, and one single (all en-suite). Each room is individually designed and comfortably furnished. Accommodation is shared between the main house, the Stable Courtyard and Milk Parlour. Redcoats boasts four acres of beautiful gardens. Registered for civil weddings for up to 80 people in a choice of three suites, the venue also offers marquee wedding receptions in the gardens. There is also a wide choice of fully equipped private meeting and dining rooms. Redcoats is five minutes from the A1(M) and 20 minutes from the M1 and M25. Redcoats is also only a 40-minute drive from London; from nearby Stevenage, London is 25 minutes by rail.
