The former village pub, which was empty for 13 years, has kept its traditional exterior but has had a complete interior refit evoking the atmosphere of a West End club, complete with two bars and spacious restaurant.

Food prices, however, have been kept at what manager Mikey Taran, pictured right, calls normal pub rates, with dinner starters such as local pigeon breast averaging 6 and mains such as sea bass fillet or Barbary duck breast at around 15.
