A FULL house greeted top Italian chef Gino D'Acampo when he arrived in his trademark Ferrari to host a celebrity evening at Brookmans Park restaurant Nolita.
The TV star, a long-time Hertfordshire resident, was welcomed by owners Nino and Antonio Polledri and other members of the management team. He then joined forces with Nolita executive chef Fabrizio Morelli to create a special menu for the 100-plus guests before hosting an impromptu version of the TV show Ready Steady Cook, followed by a Q&A session.
By coincidence, celebrity spotters on the evening scored a second goal when Spurs striker Jermain Defoe dropped by to pick up a meal he had ordered.
