HERTFORDSHIRE consumers are being invited to join the beer-vs-wine debate with the release of two new award-winning products in local supermarkets.
Innis & Gunn has just scooped two gold medals for its Oak Aged Beer (6.6% abv) and Rum Cask Finish (7.4% abv) at the 2010 Monde Selection Quality Awards in Brussels.
The Edinburgh brewing company was set up in 2003 with the aim of appealing not only to beer lovers but those who traditionally might prefer wines.
The beers are now available at supermarkets in the county.
