HUNDREDS of early-morning commuters at Bishop's Stortford station were given a special treat on St George's Day when staff from the new Lussmanns restaurant in the town handed out a 'great British packed lunch' to promote the latest member of the family. Later, the team handed out home-made flapjacks in the town centre.
The new-build Bishop's Stortford Lussmanns is on the river at Jacksons Wharf and offers a similar menu to that at the company's other outlets in Hertford and St Albans. Special features at the new eatery include a Friday fish and chips package at 9.95 with Cornish pollock and English pilsner, available from noon to 10pm.
