Hertfordshire Agricultural Society unanimously elected Noel Grant as President for 2007
AT THEIR recent annual general meeting members of Hertfordshire Agricultural Society unanimously elected Noel Grant as President for 2007. As chairman of the Martin Grant Group of companies Noel has interests in house building, farming and property investments. For the last 17 years his main focus has been on new homes development in the south-east of England, operating since 1990 from a local office in Adelaide Street, St Albans.
Noel's farming connections come from managing more than 1,500 acres of mainly arable farmland together with several woodland plantations. Previously Noel's father owned a dairy farm and ran a pedigree herd of Limousines, which were exhibited regularly at Herts County Show. Noel said: 'I am extremely proud to be elected president of the Hertfordshire Agricultural Society and look forward to presiding over the 2007 Herts County Show. It has been a pleasure to witness the increased public interest in what is now clearly established as Hertfordshire's premiere outside event.'
