FOOD groupies in Hertfordshire are being urged to cast their votes to find the face of British Pie Week, which takes place from March 1-7.
Diners are invited to ready their knives and forks, tuck in their napkins, sample their local pubs pies and nominate the best by logging on to www.britishpieweek.co.uk

Organisers say its a way of maintaining the traditional place that pies hold in England, where they have been part of the staple diet since the 12th century. Last years winner was head chef Ashley Robbins of The Keystone in Guildford, Surrey, where sales after the contest at the pubs famous Pie Night grew by 52 per cent.
