OFFICIALS in Letchworth are considering organising an annual food festival after the success of this year's inaugural event to celebrate completion of the town centre transformation project in and around Leys Avenue.

OFFICIALS in Letchworth are considering organising an annual food festival after the success of this years inaugural event to celebrate completion of the town centre transformation project in and around Leys Avenue.
Blessed with hot sunny weather, the event drew thousands of visitors to see cookery demonstrations by top chefs and sample the delights of more than 45 specialist stalls.
Guests included Stuart Blackman of The Country Bumpkin, Phil Thompson of Auberge du Lac, Paul Bloxham of The Tilbury and The Blue Anchor, Harry Kodagoda of The Fox and Scott Liversedge of Redcoats.
