The Cowper Arms has benefited from a £450,000 refurbishment

THE picturesque Cole Green has a welcome new addition to its village following the re-opening of The Cowper Arms.
The pub started life as a hotel, built by local landowner George Augustus, 6th Earl of Cowper. Following a 450,000 refurbishment the pub has now been restored to its former glory, boasting sumptuous furnishings, open log fires and rich coloured walls, all complementing the traditional pub features.
Guests will be able to choose from a wide selection of premimum continental draught lagers and there is a good selection of wines on offer. The menu features English and European dishes as well as salads and gourmet sandwiches.
