Lussmanns Weekend Ready-Made Meals

Lussmanns have launched a new delivery service of ready-made meals so that you can enjoy a touch of Lussmanns from the comfort of your own home.

They will post a new weekly menu every Monday on their website and social media channels and are covering the St Albans and Harpenden areas, with a click and collet service for those further afield.

Fine Dining takeaway in St Albans

Chez Mumtaj in St Albans have introduced a takeaway menu service so you can enjoy fine dining cuisine in the comfort of your own home.

Many of the dishes prepared in the kitchens may contain allergens nut and dairy traces, so please ask the server if you have allergies or dietary requirements. All curries are gluten free.

Gas Engineers

You may still need to call upon the services of a gas engineer inthe next few weeks.

Fireplaces and Heating Ltd in Luton are taking precautions so they can help their staff and customers stay safe if they need a home visit.

They are calling clients on the morning of our visit to confirm that their staff are healthy and able to attend the callout and ensure the customer is not in self-isolation.

They will be minimising contact by observing social distancing, asking clients to stay out of the room when they are in attendance and making sure the workspace is cleaned up and will use antiseptic wipes between visits.

Stevenage Helps

Stevenage Borough Council is working in partnership with a range of local charities to help people to donate goods or volunteer time.

The council has also worked with Stevenage Community Trust to launch an online giving platform to support vulnerable people and groups impacted by the coronavirus.

As most retailers have now been ordred to close, Wilko remains the only location open in The Maltings as they sell essential items.

To help give everyone access to essential items, we’re limiting quantities on selected items:

Pain relief, cough and cold products, children’s medicine, thermometers, toilet rolls, tissues and wipes, hand sanitisers, soap and hand-wash, cleaning and antibacterial products.
