Harpenden-based children’s charity the A-T Society is celebrating the launch of its first fundraising calendar, produced in conjunction with six British servicemen who served in Afghanistan and volunteered to help

The charity supports children and young adults affected by the disabling and life shortening condition Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T). Fundraiser Suzanne Roynon said, ‘The soldiers from 20 Transport Squadron The Royal Logistic Corps had met an A-T sufferer and wanted to do more to support people disabled by the condition. They loved our suggestion of a calendar and helped us to make it happen.’
