Dedication to commemorate men lost in the First World War


Distinguished Shakespearean actor Timothy West will be narrating the poems and letters of World War One poet Wilfred Owen on November 30 to mark the centenary of the conflict

West will be accompanied by celebrated violinist Mathew Trussler and world-renowned pianist Martin Roscoe who will be performing a programme of sonatas by Claude Debussy, Edward Elgar and Leos Janeck.

The Pity of War event will be held in The Western Auditorium on Hertfordshire University campus.
