Based at St Ippolyts, Hitchin, Garden Divas is an on-line shop oozing with presents especially for women who love to garden. All gifts are hand-picked and selected by gardeners for gardeners. I love the patchwork watering can from Pretty Useful Tools. Made from galvanised steel, the design is inspired by textile prints of the 50s, 60s and 70s and matching tools are also available. SnUggs are lightweight, machine washable boots with a welly style foot and Ugg-like top, available in various colours. The American Modern Growing Wishes kit has a collection of eight different seed varieties to grow a garden full of wishes and the nicely packaged tin also contains wooden plant labels, pencil and growing tips. 1 from the sale of each kit will be donated to the North Herts Growing People Horticultural Therapy Programme.
Gardeners aprons are useful for keeping string, secateurs and other items handy when you are working outdoors. Bradleys Half English linen/leather apron, in pink or green, has two big pockets and ties to keep everything together. Garden Divas Handy Gift Boxes contain a selection of useful and pretty gifts for gardeners including garden gloves, herbal soap, hand and nail cream and a themed seed mixture.

Growing your own couldnt be easier with easy to use seed tapes from the National Trust. Beetroot, carrot, lettuce, parsley and radish seeds are pre-spaced onto two 1.5m tapes per pack and you simply prepare the ground, lay the tape and water. No thinning and no wastage, perfect for stocking fillers. Label your seed rows with wooden plant markers, available in a rustic box along with graphite marker, natural jute green twine and green coated wire. Make your own biodegradable plant pots with a paper potter by using strips of newspaper. Available from
