International real estate adviser, Savills, is delighted to welcome Justin Godfrey to its Bishops Stortford office as Head of Residential.

Justin, who has over twenty four years experience in the property industry, predominantly in the North London and South Hertfordshire markets, is a welcome addition to the Savills team, where he will lead the department following its success in 2011.

Justin, who joins from the companys Barnet office where he spent three years expanding the business, takes over the reigns from Ed Meyer who has moved to the Savills Cambridge office.

He comments: Ive been looking forward to working in this area for some time and am very pleased to make the move. Bishops Stortford offers a beautiful variety of property in some lovely villages, yet is not too far from London.

With the growing divide in pricing between here and the London market, we are predicting a surge in buyer interest as they realise what excellent value the areas covered by Bishops Stortford now offers. As an office weve already had an encouraging start to 2012 and hopefully as we head into spring this will continue.

Mark Oliver, Head of Savills residential business in the East, comments: We are very pleased to welcome Justin to the Bishops Stortford team and wish Ed every success in his new role in Cambridge.

Justin has already contributed to the growth and expansion of the office in Barnet and we look forward to him providing the same opportunities for Bishops Stortford in the future. The office plays an important part in a strategic link between our Harpenden, Loughton, Chelmsford and Cambridge teams so its continued growth is essential.
