Lancaster of Bishop's Stortford is pointing the way forward with the arrival of the Jeep Compass

CHRYSLER, Jeep and Dodge dealer Lancaster of Bishop's Stortford is pointing the way forward with the arrival of the Jeep Compass, the latest SUV from the American manufacturer.

The Compass comes with active four-wheel drive, which means that the car operates in front-wheel drive for 90 per cent of the time and automatically switches to 4x4 when more traction is required. This brings improvements in everyday driving conditions and on wet and icy roads.

Engines include a 2.0-litre six-speed manual diesel engine and 2.4-litre petrol engine with a five-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.

Sales manager Matthew Terry said: 'Motorists who may not have considered buying an SUV may change their minds when they see that the Compass offers a competitive package of size, performance and fuel economy.' Visit www.lancasterplc.com
