Official Olympic artist and vivid cityscape specialist will be at a special show in Baldock

Recognised as one of Britain’s most innovative cityscape artists and official Olympic artist for the 2012 Games, Dylan Izaak will be attending Baldock’s Gallery 1066 from 7-9pm on June 5 to unveil a collection of mixed-media originals and collectable editions featuring his slant on the urban world.

Known for his imagery of such icons as the British bulldog, ice cream sundaes, the Queen and her corgis, Izaak uses enamel paint on raw aluminium to give his pieces a vibrant contem-porary feel. Several of his works featured by Gallery 1066 will also be on show after the visit. Admission to the Izaak event is by guest list – call the gallery on 01462 622233.
