1. Harpenden Christmas Carnival

Soak up the magic of Christmas at this spectacular event in Harpenden High Street on Sunday 22 November. The fun begins at 12noon where there will be a fun fair, farmers market and a number of charity stalls to browse for fantastic gift ideas. On Sunday 15 November, St Albans City Centre will be bursting with light, music and entertainment. Don’t miss out on the fun, for this afternoon will be filled with roaring music and a buzzing atmosphere that’s going to make you want to sing and dance the night away. From food stalls, to glow in the dark face painting right through to fun fair rides, the seasonal excitement just doesn’t seem to end in the lead up to the lights switch-on at 5.15pm. 3. Hertford Christmas Gala

Step into Christmas at the Hertford Christmas Gala on Friday 27 November. Enjoy the festive fun for all the family from 4.30pm - 8.15pm where there will be a range of activities taking place all evening. From festive choirs, to fire-breathing performances, you will be stuck for choice. The light switch-on starts at 6.30pm, which will be one of the main highlights you won’t want to miss. 4. Letchworth Christmas Lights

Get yourself down to Letchworth at the Leys Square on the 21st November for their special Christmas event. Enjoy amazing live performances throughout the evening as well as their very own festive Christmas market. Make sure to stick around at the end of the night for a spectacular fireworks display. This will definitely be one not to miss.

5. Ledbury Switch On

Come and join all the festive fun on Saturday 28th November in Ledbury town centre. Kicking off in the afternoon with Father Christmas’ arrival at 1pm and join the wide range of live entertainment to take you through the day. 6. Stevenage Switch On

Head down to Stevenage on Thursday 26th November for their very own Christmas affair. Taking place in the town square with the show opening at 4pm, you can expect great live entertainment including a performance from 2011 Britain’s Got Talent finalists ‘The Risk’.
