Life was ticking along as normal for Martin, or so he thought, until unexpectedly, his world is turned upside down by a burgeoning romance and the return of a long-lost relative which forces him into making some life-changing choices.

The company, which includes award-winning writers Julie McNamara and Ray Dowling has written a heart-warming, often hilarious story of a boy taking his first steps into manhood.

Touch tours for the visually impaired will take place 30 minutes before each performance.

Laundry Boy will be performed in British Sign Language and spoken English with creative audio description integrated into the action.

Face Front is a unique company including people with physical, sensory and learning impairments, and those with invisible disabilities and mental health issues, as well as non-disabled people of different ages and ethnic backgrounds.

The companys multi-layered approach stimulates audiences on different sensory levels combining the visual (physical theatre, movement, video) and the aural (song, sound-scaping, poetry, music) using sign language and audio-description as an integral part of the performance, therefore offering audiences different routes of access to the show.
