Nearly 500 people took part in the first ever Isabel Hospice Awesome 80s Midnight Walk on September 10. Sponsored by Roche, the event saw Hartham Common in Hertford flashing with hundreds of neon pink deely boopers as walkers did the conga to warm up for the 10km route along the river into Ware. Event organiser Katie Robertson said, It was an amazing night and a real sight to see so many tu-tu clad men and women congaing around Hartham Common, spurred on by Lindsey Peters from the Rosemary Conley diet and fitness club, for the warm-up before setting off into the dark! The night was a great success and we have been pledged over 30,000 so far, with more money coming in every day.
