The Holiday Inn Stevenage celebrated its first anniversary with a VIP birthday party. A fun evening, including cartoon snail racing, ensured that all the guests went away very happy and a total of 293 raised from the racing has been donated to the Haiti earthquake appeal. The party was completed with a traditional cutting of the birthday cake by the new owner Jiten Kantaria from Queensgate Hotel Ltd and Councillor Sue Myson, Mayor of Stevenage.
Hotel general manager, Gerard Ryan, said, We have succeeded in an economic downturn, and become a valuable part of the community, supporting local charities, whilst employing and developing local people.
To mark the occasion Holiday Inn is offering all its customers a two-for-one deal in its Destinations restaurant on lunch and evening meals through to the end of March.
