Free Family Fun Day of jewellery making, classic cars and Pimms in Halls Green, Hertfordshire

The village of Halls Green in Hertfordshire is playing host to a summer Family Fun Day in aid of the NSPCC with things to do for all ages completely free of charge.

The event is packed full of activities for all the family including childrens jewellery making workshops, a Classic Car Rally, jazz band, jewellery making demonstrations and plenty of complimentary Pimms.

Harriet Kelsall Jewellery Design, the UKs leading bespoke jewellery design company, is once again hosting its annual summer event which this year is taking place on Saturday, 11th June from 9.45am to 5pm at its flagship studio in Halls Green.

Harriet Kelsall, Managing Director of Harriet Kelsall Jewellery Design, says, 'Were very lucky to be based in a beautiful, rural location which provides the perfect setting for our annual Family Fun Day.

'This year, were teaming up with the Classic Car Rally so we really do have something for everyone and proceeds from our raffle will go to the NSPCC, a charity we have supported for a number of years.

'We can promise a fantastic day out, completely free, so why not bring a picnic and spend the day making jewellery, admiring classic cars, listening to jazz and drinking Pimms.'

Harriet Kelsall will again be running the ever-popular jewellery making workshops for children, which are a big hit every year.

Children can let their imaginations run wild creating all sorts of jewellery, which make great presents for family or friends.

Staff from Harriet Kelsall Jewellery Design will also be on hand to discuss any jewellery you no longer wear that could be re-designed into something new and fabulous.

'Lots of people have stacks of jewellery at home that they no longer wear or was passed down to them from a relative bring it along with you and talk to our designers about how it can be recycled to create a new piece of jewellery that youll actually wear,' adds Harriet.

Raffle prizes include jewellery and gift vouchers to spend at Harriet Kelsall Jewellery Design and all proceeds will be donated to the NSPCC.

The Classic Car Rally is open from 12pm to 5pm with a charge of 5 if you wish to enter a car.
