Stage and screen actor Sir Tom Courtenay is bringing his Philip Larkin show to Hertford Theatre this month.

Stage and screen actor Sir Tom Courtenay is bringing his Philip Larkin show to Hertford Theatre this month.


Clive Conway presents An Audience With Tom Courtenayin Pretending To Be Me,his own dramatised compilation from the letters, articles and poems of Philip Larkin, the poet and Hull University librarian.


In 2010, the 25th anniversary of Larkin's death, Courtenay was invited by the Larkin Society to perform his show in Hull, his home town - the place where Larkin wrote most of his best known poetry.
