The Hospice of St Francis hosted its annual garden party in the gardens of the Ashridge Business school estate on May 30 which helped it raise 14,000. The event attracted around 4,000 visitors, parents, children and grandparents, who enjoyed scones and tea in the sunshine whilst listening to the Jolly Jazzers band, browsed a variety of stalls and enjoyed the Kidszone. Children watched the Punch and Judy show, tried their hand at circus skills by Alightfingers.com and the ever popular bouncy castle while parents sipped a Pimms or a pint and browsed a wide variety of stalls selling crafts and plants.
