Marie Curie Cancer Care volunteers were rewarded and recognised during a Blooming Great Tea Party staged by the charity at the prestigious Hanbury Manor Hotel & Country Club in July. Community fundraiser, Jessica Sessions, commented, Our volunteers are the backbone of our charity and we really couldnt survive without their support. It is thanks to the time that they freely give that we are able to continue providing Marie Curie Nurses in the homes of people who are terminally ill with cancer and other illnesses. It is impossible to express how truly grateful we are for the support of our volunteers and its a pleasure to be able to invite them to this very special tea party.
