Lavish costumes from the Bafta and Oscar winning film The Favourite have gone on show at Hatfield House. The stately home was used to depict Kensington Palace in the historical comedy-drama about the reign of Queen Anne and her two favourites at court, Sarah Churchill and Abigail Masham, starring Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone. The Long Gallery, Marble Hall, King James Drawing Room and the Library all feature. Many of the costumes designed and created by Sandy Powell (including Queen Anne's) are displayed in the rooms used for the film.

The exhibition, included in the usual ticket price, runs until June 16.
