Zelley, the Bishops Stortford-based jewellers, celebrated its anniversary of 100 years of business in style by hiring Tower Bridge and inviting 100 guests to a superb evening at the historic London venue. Guests included friends, customers and top name suppliers, while more than 1million of jewellery was on display, the centrepiece being a 242,000 Chopard necklace. After dinner, entertainment was provided by Siren Strings, the all girl electric string quartet. Michael Zelley spoke of the history of the business, founded in 1910 by Frederick Zelley, and of the great rapport he has with his sons Philip and Martin. Michael also offered a special thanks to all of the Zelley staff and in particular Tina Schooling.
