Get closer to Hertfordshire's wildlife this summer
Enjoy a Butterfly and Bug Walk at Pryor's Wood Nature Reserve on July 25
Butterfly and Bug Walk
Pryors Wood Nature Reserve, Sunday, July 25, 2-4pm. Meet: Main reserve entrance in Gresley Way. 2 donation requested.
Join wardens for a guided walk around this lovely woodland near Stevenage to look for butterflies and other insects. At this time of year the wood is also alive with the birdsong of summer visitors like the blackcap, chiffchaff and garden warbler. You might even get a glimpse of a sparrowhawk speeding along the woodland edges. Bring binoculars if you have them!
