Simon Gerrard Managing Director of Martyn Gerrard Estate Agents was delighted to present a cheque for 10,000 to The North London Hospice and Noahs Ark Childrens Hospice, two of the local charities supported by Martyn Gerrard.

The donation was raised through a number of fundraising events.Firstly, Saul Gerrard, Paul Abbott Williams and James McGloin, 3 members of Martyn Gerrard Estate Agents entered the 2010 Mazda Blenheim Palace Triathlon. Not for the feint hearted this event consisted of a 750m swim, followed by a 20km bike race and finished off by a 5km run.

However the pain endured by thesethree pales into insignificance when compared to the chest waxing undertaken byseven members of Martyn Gerrard staff including Sales Director Warren Price and MD Simon Gerrard.

This second event was organised and hosted by Spa Chic of 773 High Road, North Finchley and saw the seven grit their teeth and raise nearly 5,000

Simon Gerrard said, 'With hindsight maybe the triathlon would have been less painful, but I am delighted that we managed to raise so much for these two very good causes.I would like to thankeveryone who so generously sponsored us and to all the guys for taking part and a special thank you to Spa Chic for organising the Chest Waxing.'
