We were very surprised and pleased to win this award, especially when we saw the other candidates who were nominated in our category. It is always good to receive recognition of your efforts and this award has made us feel very upbeat and positive for the future. The awards dinner was very well planned, fun and it was really nice to be able to network with other different St Albans businesses and discuss our concerns and opportunities for the future. YOUNG PERSON Katie Cairns,Cardif Pinnacle
Being nominated for the Young Person Award, was a wonderful surprise. It was also a real pleasure to meet with the judges and talk to them about my career, life and future aspirations. Being named as a finalist and then attending the incredibly well organised awards ceremony, with the support of such fabulous friends and family was so exciting. I was really moved, and delighted, by the kind words that people said and wrote about me.
Sitting at the back of the venue on the night, I never expected to win anything and when my name was called out I was astounded! From start to finish this has been an experience that I will never forget. Katie Cairns, Cardif Pinnacle
