British furniture maker Sofas and Stuff has delivered a new sofa to lucky Diane Lilley of Baldock who won a competition in partnership with Hertfordshire Life for a designer piece worth up to £1,200
The competition was held to celebrate the opening of a bespoke thatched barn outlet on the rural fringes of Bishop’s Stortford.
Diane said she was delighted to have won the prize – when she got over the phone call giving her the good news. ‘I was very happy and surprised to have won a fantastic new sofa. The whole experience, from choosing the sofa and fabric to delivery, was fantastic.’
Sofas and Stuff manager Chris Hardcastle said, ‘It was a pleasure to help Diane choose a British-made sofa that she will love coming home to and give many years of pleasure.’
The Wickham Hall outlet, which has a range of handmade sofas, chairs, tables and beds hosted an official launch party on March 28.
