Pauline Taylor, a Senior Night Carer at Tara's Retreat in Sandridge has won the Best Carer 2011 category in the National Care Awards 2011.

Pauline Taylor, a Senior Night Carer at Taras Retreat in Sandridge has won the Best Carer 2011 category in the National Care Awards 2011.


Winners of the Care Awards 2011 were presented with their trophies by John Sergeant at the high profile Gala Nightrecently at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel in London, attended by 600 guests.


Pauline has worked as a Carer for B&M Care for 20 years and was recently given a Staff Recognition Award by her colleagues at Taras Retreat Care Home for being an outstanding role model.


Her colleagues all praise her contribution for caring, saying, 'Pauline really does not know how good she is, she gives the residents time and will do her utmost to put them first.'Pauline is a shining example of what a senior member of staff should be.'


Manager, Annette Sudbury Smith added, 'We are absolutely thrilled that Pauline has won this national award and is a credit to Taras Retreat.'
